We are delighted to announce the participation of SPARKLE by KAREN CHAN at Paris Fashion Days, taking place on October 02, 2026 at the Hôtel Le Marois.
Renowned for reinventing the traditional Chinese cheongsam into East-meets-West high fashion, Karen Chan brings a playful yet refined contemporary vision to cultural couture. Her work seamlessly bridges heritage and modernity, transforming timeless Chinese aesthetics into globally resonant fashion statements.
Karen has received numerous cultural and artistic awards and has been invited by leading institutions such as the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong History Museum, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office, and the historic Sam Tung Uk Museum to reinterpret priceless artworks and artifacts into New Hong Kong–Chinese style wearable art. She has showcased her collections at the world’s most prominent fashion weeks, including Milan, Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Thailand, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, promoting the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the cheongsam on an international stage.
Her latest collaboration with the Hong Kong blockbuster movie “Back To The Past” captivated the fashion world with striking black-and-gold modern qipaos that transcend time and beauty. The Limited Edition “Back To The Past” Be@rbrick further established SPARKLE by KAREN CHAN as an iconic and visionary fashion IP.
Beyond the runway, Karen Chan is a passionate advocate for fashion and the arts. Holding key public roles, including Chairman of the Arts Promotion Committee under the Arts Development Council (HKADC), she continues to push creative boundaries and redefine cultural fashion for the future.
