As Saudi Arabia continues its cultural transformation under Vision 2030, her designs celebrate the Kingdom’s rich heritage through contemporary couture, craftsmanship, and a creative vision that seamlessly blends authenticity with elegance.
The Spring/Summer 2027 collection is inspired by both historic and modern Jeddah, bridging the gap between the timeless charm of Al-Balad (old town) and the futuristic energy of the modern city.
The sleek, structural cuts and contemporary metallic accents in the collection reflect modern Jeddah’s glowing skyline, vibrant coastal waterfront, and progressive architectural vision, seamlessly weaving the city’s past with its dynamic present.
More than a source of inspiration, the collection is a deeply personal journey back to the place where Samira spent her childhood and where the district’s architecture and traditional craftsmanship first shaped her creative identity.
The collection’s color palette is rooted in the city’s distinctive architecture. Cornflower blue is inspired by the iconic Rawasheen (windows) that adorn Historic Jeddah’s houses, while off white reflects the coral stone used throughout Al-Balad.
Dark brown echo the handcrafted wooden doors, balconies, and Rawasheen, while terracotta recalls the tones of the city’s historic buildings.
Beyond its color palette, the collection captures the spirit of Historic Jeddah through flowing silhouettes, intricate embroidery, and exceptional craftsmanship.
Rather than recreating its architecture, Samira Halawani reinterprets its heritage into timeless couture, bringing the warmth, elegance, and cultural richness of Al-Balad to the international runway.
